Episode 107 - Two Christians Walk into a Bar: Alcohol, Idols, and Whether Drinking is a Sin

In Episode 107, Keith and Justin sit down to discuss a topic that is polarizing in certain Christian circles: the use and abuse of alcohol. What are our experiences with drinking? Is it even in issue in Christianity anymore? Is it an individual issue, or can there be blanket prescriptions? Can alcohol be an idol, even if one doesn't drink? How can we liberate ourselves from the (potential) hold that alcohol can have over us? And why doesn't Justin drink much anymore? We try to be incredibly open and transparent in this episode, so be sure to give it a listen! In the beginning, Keith opens up the podcast by talking about death and our New Year's parties! #deathto2016. As always, Keith is joined once again by Darcy Rumble from Giants in the Sound as they talk about Derek Minor's new album, Reflection. Finally, in the end, the guys give a quick preview into their favorite albums of 2016, and they also talk about the subjective nature of music tastes and ratings. As always, be sure to comment, rate, and subscribe to the podcast. Let us know what you think!
