Episode 108 - Two Deconstructed Theologians' Experience with the Modern Christian Church

In Episode 108, Keith and Justin discuss the ways in which the Church uses theology to offer a quick fix to our problems. How does Christianity present itself in our world today? Is it more than just a list of things to do/avoid? Can Christianity itself become an idol? How can theology be used as a mask for inaction/insecurity? And how does Keith's conversion experience include a long, legalistic list? Listen to find out! Also, in the beginning, Justin talks about his recent trip back to Boone and how he's obsessed with Black Mirror, while Keith talks about his recent interview on another podcast and struggles to remember the finer details. But since we're all about transparency, we decided to leave everything in, awkwardness and all, and we hope you enjoy it! Unfortunately, there is no Giants in the Sound segment on this week's show, but the guys wrap up by giving their final thoughts and discussing the Clemson/Alabama game (which Justin actually contributes to!). As always, be sure to comment, rate, and subscribe to the podcast. Let us know what you think!
