Episode 98 - Hell Houses: Effective Evangelism or Psychologically Traumatizing?

In Episode 98, Keith and Justin get more theological and wrap up their discussion of haunted houses by diving into the conservative Christian alternative: Hell Houses. What exactly are Hell Houses? Why do churches spend thousands of dollars putting on these performances? Is it a clever way to reach the lost, or is it a manipulative form of fear-mongering? Is escaping pain and the fear of Hell really what Christianity is all about? What psychologically damaging effect did the experience have on Justin? And how does he feel about it now? Listen to find out! Also, in the beginning, we talk about Apple's new MacBook Pro, and why Keith absolutely hates it. We talk a bit more about technology and its impact on creating art, as well as Keith's last night working at the haunted house. As always, we are joined once again by Darcy Rumble from Giants in the Sound as we discuss Everything in Slow Motion's experimental EP, Laid Low. Finally, the guys wrap up the show by giving their final thoughts, as well as giving a few of their favorite people some shout-outs. As always, be sure to comment, rate, and subscribe to the podcast.
